Join Music Boosters

The Music Boosters provides essential support and resources to enhance the experience of every music student. Donations fund new musical instruments, sheet music, professional clinicians, guest performances, honors ensembles, field trips, recording and education technology, facility enhancements, concert attire, and special awards. Donors are recognized in the Winter and Spring Concert programs. Suggested contribution levels: 

Musician’s Circle: $50.00+

Principal’s Circle: $100.00+

Concertmaster’s Circle: $150.00+

Conductor’s Circle: $200.00+

Virtuoso’s Circle: $250.00+


Donate via one of 2 methods:



2) Submit a check (payable to Governor’s School Foundationto your student's music teacher, or to a Music Boosters Board Member during a concert or event at MLWGS.
Note: On the Memo line, write the following: 

Music Boosters Membership, Your Student's Name, Your Student's Year or Class
SampleMusic Boosters Membership, Suzie Queue, Sophomore, Class of 2017

Donations of time, effort, and skill to support the music program are essential! Volunteer as a board member, marketing officer, concert program graphic designer, social media chair, web master, spring trip coordinator, field trip chaperone, concert attire manager, ticket table greeter/concert program distributor, committee member, and/or helper for a variety of events such as concert receptions, end of year picnic, Fall Festival, Tri-M Music Honors Society Induction, clerical/secretarial/inventory support, etc.  Sign up for specific volunteer opportunities on Charms, the Music Program Online Manager (link forthcoming).

All parents are always invited to attend monthly Music Boosters meetings (dates on school calendar at MLWGS.com).
